In 2002 he became a registered member of PERADI (Indonesian Advocates Association), and most recently in 2021, has been certified and registered as a member of HKPI (Himpunan Kurator dan Pengurus Indonesia).
Aiming to continue sharpen his conversance in law skill, Dedi M. Lawe has achieved his Magister degree of Business Law Program at Padjajaran University (Universitas Padjajaran) in 2006 and currently is a candidate of Law Studies Doctoral Program at Jayabaya University.
